Not everyone needs enlightenment on this, but the giveaway is the shape of the holes at the rear where the strings pass through. Unfortunately, there are some, who after having pointed that out, STILL argue that they're identical.

So they're more elongated and less circular on the real one.

Yes. Some of the edges are also a bit too crisp, and the chrome is a bit too "white" looking. RIC actually color matches their chrome between their suppliers.

Wow, I only paid $1106.00 for a brand new one during the MF sale in 2011. That was too much even if it were real.
