OK... Now I'm just getting frustrated. You're like a prom date who won't give it up. I want it bad and you won't give it to me! How much champagne is it gonna take to get your bra off?!
How do I get me a SergioSlipper? Money? Parts? Beer?
You obviously gave it up to some other list member. What's he got that I haven't got?
I know this isn't the sales forum, but seems somewhat on topic for this thread. I've got a V64 Horseshoe and Toaster pickup combo that I will sell only as a set. These pickups would be correct for any V63 manufactured from the beginning of '98, onwards. Both have been mounted in my 4003 for the past three years. Both pickups are complete, including vintage surround for the Horseshoe and all the mounting hardware. Excellent condition. $250.00, plus shipping for both. Email me at [email protected].
These pickups sound great, but I'm considering selling the 4003 and figured that I'd sell it in its stock configuration.
Mitch--this first part is for you and you only, unless you pass on it. I have a genuine, never used Rickenbacker Humbucker mounted on a new bass treble pickup plastic back plate. The pickup also has a BLACK pickup surround for extra stealth in the pickup pocket. It's all new, $70.00 plus shipping. I was going to mount it permanently in a bass I sold a few years ago, but is now gathering dust. To mount in the treble position, you will need a pickup surround and the springs and bolts, but everything else is there. You could even remove it from the treble pickup plate, and mount it in the bass position because the pickup back plate is threaded. I might have an extra high-gain pickup in my stash of parts, but need to check.
Also generally available to the Rickenbacker faithful, a genuine Rickenbacker black 4003 pickguard, new never used, I also have a new, never used, white genuine Rickenbacker 4001V63 pickguard from the '97 time period, before they went to that ****** fake looking white material. Let me know--it's all just gathering dust and really needs to be installed and used!
Thanks Greg, I appreciate the consideration, but I already have a set of Seymour Duncans that came with my 4003. I'm trying to replace them with genuine RIC pickups; so if you find the high-gain, I would certainly be interested in that.
And by the way, if that Rob guy flakes out on you I'm standing 2nd position with cash in hand! =)
