NAMM 2013

Re: NAMM 2013
Well, I did not look through this whole thread but I just got to say this......
Unless it was because they saw me coming and locked things down, I thought that IT SUCKED that you could not play any of the Rics on display.
There were a couple of the harder to find models that I wanted to play a bit to see how I liked them before buying one sight unseen.
The fact that I could not even take them off the wall or display to hold them, much less play them was a total turn off for me.
As much as I love my Rics, this short sighted action may have swayed me to go a different way with a different brand.

+1 Would be nice for us detail-freaks to know.sloop_john_b wrote:What is the official name of that guitar?rickenbrother wrote:Just letting you guys that are unaware, know that 350MC is not the official name of that guitar.
I did notice some people refer to it as the 350V58MC or something like that, which can't be right, as Mike's original is from the 80s?

My pal Richie (of BOC fame) has been GASing hard for a Harrison 12'er. Much to his dismay, it was "sniff but don't touch" at RIC.T28 wrote:Well, I did not look through this whole thread but I just got to say this......

Not that I know of, but he has been looking for a guitar, lately, so who knows.sloop_john_b wrote:Did Joey buy the NAMM one? Wow!!

The JGRJV was a joke but..............
Re: NAMM 2013
Eddie: You had a 6-string done, too?! In the group shot, the two Young makeovers and the Sam Ash guitar. I sent my '86 1997 over to you
Regarding the Campbell 350: The last I heard, Ric were not sure what was going to happen to it. It's exactly what Joey has been jonesing for guitar-wise, so it would make sense if he wound up with it. Of course, we'll need him to confirm if he did or not.
