Serial Number Problem? 360v64

I have a 360v64 6 and I want to know when it was made, the serial decoder will not read the # which is MO9855 - does this mean this is a fake?
or is something wrong with the reader? or are v64s another system or what?

Substitute a "zero" for the letter "O" and you'll get it right.

M09855 = Jan 1997
