Just saying that just because a guitar may have many disirable cosmetic features, it doesn't necessarily follow that it's a good guitar.

I've not played many vintage Rics, it has to be said, but the ones I have played have all been Krap. Looked nice though.......

I'd recommend you try to play a few more vintage Rob so you can get a more rounded view. Maybe Graham could help out as I believe he has one or two lying around...

Scotty's 1997 is a great player. Terrific sustain. It just makes you want to play it. The FG has aged nicely too. It'll only get better.
