Not the best photos, but here's a group shot of my recent RMs. (as of recently the two on the ends are no longer mine).

From L to R: Sept '64, May '64, Feb '65, July '65

...this topic really grew legs! Four pages in 3 hours.

Just great looking guitars Collin. Without wanting to blow too much smoke, I think you're in pole position to get the cigar right now! :D

Here's a rare one. 1964 360S/12 with 6 banjo tuners. Most likely a test model. Am happy that they chose the classic headstock. :D This one also has a square heel. Also, no "made in usa" on trc.

I believe this was one of three made in March 1999 and I think the other two were exported to Japan.

Thanks for that info. Although this spec (with the bound neck and sharks tooth inlays) was never one of the standard Rose Morris models, I'd say it would be a great configuration to reissue with the X-braced body for the RM 50th....essentially a reissue of the prototype used by Townshend. 8)

An early '64 365. One of the first New Styles, no doubt.

This is really special...an antecedent of the New Style f-holes they shipped in small volumes to Italy at the end of the '60's.

Do you know if the output is dual mono or Ric-o-Sound on these?

From what Kevin's told me, it is essentially a 360/12V64 with f-hole. In other words: dual mono

Collin: my waiting paid off! Great group shot!
Kevin: you've got a nice group of reissues, Eddie should give you the crown for best reissue RoMos!

I believe our admin Peter has a special 12-string in Rose Morris specs that was custom made for him in 2003. Whether he wants to contribute, tell us the story and share some pics or not is up to him.

That's correct. As far as I know, the only deviation from the normal 360/12V64 spec is the f-hole.

Yes but the body shape is quite bit different from what would be known as the New Style. Square neck heel, more of a hand shaped body style, solid white binding on the back.

That's a very interesting spec for '64. I believe all the '64 Rose Morris exports, even the first shipment, had the rounded heel so this square heel must be rare (unique?) on any '64 f-hole guitar. In the picture it looks like the f-hole is bound as well...do you think that's factory original?

Makes sense for a guitar made in the late '90's. I recall very early V64's had Ric-o-Sound before they went to the dual mono.
