Rick Nielsen '66 330 with a long R tailpiece...

Post by opticnerve »

This is interesting.

What do you guys make of this '66 330 with a long R tailpiece?

I'm thinking that it's most likely a replacement. Agree?

It does have a roller bridge, so I'm thinking it originally had an Accent vibrato. Unless the bridge is not original...???

In any case, I think it looks pretty cool!

Oh I'm sure it's not original, swapped out at some point, the guitar is hardly "all-original" otherwise.

On that note, no way I'd pay $6000 for a hacked-up 330 with a pickup route and poor repair/refin, Rick Nielson-owned or not.
