I don't think it's so much in order of who they think is best, rather just the 60 that they feel are the greatest. There alot of great ones that never or hardly ever get a mention anywhere, including that list of 60.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Very interesting assortment of names. Glad to see some of my "heros" made the list. Real glad to see Burnell, Foxton, Moulding, Burton, Glover and Wobble made the cut. I'm not going to comment about where each bassist wound up in the list since I got into a bit of controversy on Talk Bass when I said Flea was probably capable of carrying and setting up Squire's and Geddy's gear. Emphasis on probably. :D The damn topic went sideways after that comment.

Nice to see Pete Trewavas on the list !

Geddy as number 2, I can see that... He plays Orange amps too these days !

John Taylor is an amazing bass player, however ranked #1 is a little high in my opinion.

The 60 bass players presented are great, so one should not put too much weight on the actual rank.

Yeah like most things and lists and judging shows it is only one person or that group of judges opinion at that time of day etc... Lots of people I respect in there and many I don't. I don't think I saw Mike Gordon in there so whoopie....

Oh c'mon guys, you know Simon Gallup ranks above Jaco Pastorius and Mark King as a bassist.

I think these lists are made so people will get mad and say, "HEY LOOK AT THIS STUPID LIST," then the web site gets more traffic and generates ad revenue. Just a guess.
