NGD - 330/12

Post by eatswodo »

A bit over 11 years ago, I joined this forum as I was gearing up to buy my first Rickenbacker - a 650D, which I still have (the one in my avatar).

Finally, all this time later, it's been joined by what I *really* wanted to buy back then - a 330. The new arrival is a very fine, absolutely mint, 2011 330/12 MG. I got it from Pick of the Ricks. I found out after it arrived that he'd had it in stock since September last year, at a very reasonable price - it must have just been waiting for me to come along. Chris was excellent to deal with - this guitar really is *mint* - even the case candy is unopened, and he popped an extra set of Curt Mangan strings in the case just to top it off.

This thing sounds like a choir of angels has just moved into my house. I hope it won't be another 11 years before I can add another one to the collection.

Stunningly beautiful. Your "choir of angels" description is perfect. Enjoy!
If there isn't a 12 string Rickenbacker playing at my funeral, I'm leaving.
