Felipe was much better before his accident; I don't think he is the same person he used to be, so to speak.

That was a real shame. I'm not really a F1 enthusiast though, mainly because the races here are narrated by the most obnoxious TV personality, Galvao Bueno. His voice just makes me want to turn the TV off.

As to the RIC 8) 8) :

Just left it with my tech to restring and adjust the action a little lower. The previous owner left it hanging on his wall for +4 years!!!

Surprisingly the intonation was spot on even with rusty strings. I just read that flatwounds would sound better on a 12-string, but they're so hard to find here! Had to go with roundwounds.

Is this a subjective matter? I don't mean to exactly replicate the 60's Byrds jangle, just looking for a rich bright sound.

Rodrigo,

You can always order your TI Flats from Pick of the Ricks in Lindenwold, New Jersey.

I did JUST happen to find a set of D'Addario flatwound 0.10's in a store near my workplace!

How do you feel about pairing them up with the 0.10's from the roundwound set?

Anyone ever tried this approach? I might just try it...

I'm sure the TI Flats sound amazing but shipping to Brazil takes a while, and I can't possibly wait any longer to pick this Rick!

I have .010 Chromes on my '67 330, to these bassists ears they sound great, but then I like Chromes, on basses, too.

I'm thinking about pairing up the chrome flats with the corresponding rounds from the 12-string nickel set.

I just hope this is not too crazy... :?
