May 18 actually works for me! The only other possibilities in May would be Sunday 5/5 or Sunday 5/12. I kind of like the Saturday date.

This time I'll bring some cymbals and maybe even a real live drummer! Might need to try and have my 8-string shipped over here too...

My last final is the night before; probably can't make it. If I can make it, I'll be even less useful playing-wise than usual becaue I won't have picked up a guitar or practiced for the previous two weeks.
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

Sounds like lots of fun, and I really enjoyed the one a few years ago. However, I'll be out of town. Darn.

Looks like I won't be able to make this one either...
:(
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Is everyone down with booking our usual dive venue, The Music Spectrum in San Rafael? If so, I'll be happy to make the call and reserve the two big rooms at a cost of $240 for the eight hour session. If we get twelve attendees that breaks down to 20 bucks per. If fewer, it costs each one more, obviously.

I should give them a month's notice to insure availability, so we should get organized as quickly as possible. This is short notice compared with previous confluences, so let's get cracking. Fortunately, Rich seems to be on top of the cat herding via e-mail and PM.

So what say ye? Music Spectrum OK?

Music Spectrum is perfect Kira, it's centrally located in the Bay Area, and we know what to expect at the venue. X-tra Large Vegetarian for me, but I won't mind if I end up with a bit of pepperoni..... I've already been in touch with Rich.....
