I am watching that one as a potential project. The neck crack appears to be trussing damage but it is hard to tell for sure from the pics. It is otherwise a bit of a mess It really should not sell for much more than $400 in that condtion but this is Ebay we are talking about. That Toadies bass with the wild paint job sold for more than $1400.
I think the TRC is homemade brass. Look at the edge, looks solid. I'm not thinking this bridge mod is the worst I've seen. The headstock wave has been reshaped, look how close the original screws are to the edge on the back. Will make for a noticable neck repair unless painted a solid color. This thing better go cheap if it's to be worth it.
