It's easy to haul around, thanks to Paulie :D :D No bad back this time, so I'll try to bring it. I'd also like to play through someone's AC-30 if you don't mind. And everyone is welcome to try my Ricks and amplifier if you want. That bass rig looks scary to me and I'm half deaf anyway...should be interesting

I guess this meas I arrive early to help Gary, and Steve's bringing that sweet-mama-of-an-AC30 . . . .

Gary, you'll have to make it next time So Cal has an event; there are usually a few different varieties of AC 30 to choose from.

I'll bring the Ruby.... actually RUBIES; I must fess up. Jay Dog and I conducted some guitar business, at Rich's urging; "Paulie, you know how you like matched pairs? Well.... "
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Hey all,

I'll have to send my regrets this time. I'd love to make it up north for one of these eventually.

Have fun!

Saturday, May 18th in San Rafael, Marin County
near the 101-580 (Richmond Bridge) junction

Have our Bay Area based BARCers lined up any drummers for sitting in at the jam ??
Harry says he is getting their later on in the day ... so assuming the same for the drummer pal he is bringing.
Hence some early afternoon drummer(s) are needed :!:

I tried and failed last year. Will put out some feelers again, but I'll be travelling a bit between now and a week before BARC. Maybe Thomas (master of the extended ending) will sit in for a while.

Did I see that John A is coming out this time? If you are, let me know and I can bring my 650C with the 500k pots for you to try out (assuming you haven't had yours modded yet). As usual I'll bring my Deluxe Reverb and pedalboard for use at the jam. Seems like there will be plenty of amps this time so if I bring anything else it will just be the Vibro Champ (no mini-stack) for people to use in the display room. I'll try to cram a cooler with some bevvies in my trunk as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone again...
If it is to be, it is up to me.

Doug, are you going to bring your Ric Lap Steel project to BARC ? 8)
Kira, is your Holy Grail going to be on display ? 8)

How about drummers ... can Gareth, Doug, ModRock or JohnAshfield enlist a drummer (or two) for the early part of the afternoon jam session ? ? :)
