How long had you searched for your best/fav guitar?

Post by arteeest »

Hi guys,

Just curious in hearing other peoples stories in how/how long they obtained/waited (for) their best/number 1/favourite guit',
I've been searching for a 650a Atlantis for a while now, and have had absolutely no luck! (there was one the otherday on ebay that had been absolutely hacked up and rerouted).
It's a pity its discontinued as i actually dig the swamp green cthulu vibe (as well as woods, scale, bridge, neck width and spacing) If i were to obtain one it would be my first rick.

:)

Guess I'm lucky that I sort of stumbled into my number ones. Paying for them is what took time. Didn't always know that they would be my favorites at first. That sort of developed as we went along. Like pets, they found me.

It depends. . . . which one?

The last time I actually searched for a favorite guitar, I found it on EBay just a week after "settling" for the same model in a different finsh. . . I still bought the guitar. .. .
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

It found me, about 41 years after I started looking.

Read all about it here. The stuff of legends.

Edit: I just read through that whole saga. Can you believe it? That was four years ago.
