The necks on all the '71's that I've had were thin front to back and wider feeling.

Not a bad idea using the joint biscuits there.

Yeah, not sure when they started painting the green bobbins black. Sometime latter in '71?

i'd like to find what month the large mag came into play under the flat slot screw black coil.

Biscuits? I thought it was supposed to be brownies...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
