Replacing the tuners on my 366
I have another thread on the subject of my 366 but, this concerns the tuners which I'm replacing going back to oem's. Anyway I ordered a set of tuners for the 366 and it occurred to me that it may require the different length 'shafts' RIC has available. I ordered the long shafted RIC deluxe tuners as replacements for my 366 and now I'm wondering if I should have ordered a set of the short shafted tuners. Even if this is the case, I wanted, at some point, to have an extra set of tuners for my parts inventory so, if I ordered in error for my 366, it's of no consequence. I'll just order the set required as well. Did I order incorrectly for my 366? Does it take long and shorts?

You should have ordered shorts for your 366-12.
The longs might turn out okay for the main strings, but they won't fit into the side of the headstock for the octave strings -- they are a bit too long for that.

OK, good. I'll be ordering some shorts then. As I said, I wanted a set for spares. Just was going to order them later on. Since I just changed the strings on the 366, it'll be a while before I do the tuners anyway. All is good!
