Loving me some 200/2000 series

Post by jdogric12 »

It pleases me to report that the new additions 2030GF and 250 have been field tested and are performing great. All the great things people say about these guitars and basses are true! Feel free to pile on with 2xx/2xxx appreciation.

I love mine! Vastly under-celebrated, these little workhorses. Of course, they clean up nicely, as well:

It's being shipped this week so depending on Customs maybe a couple weeks or so.

The 2030GF is great. :D The neck feels like very much like that of my '11 4004L but thinner front to back. 8) Those HB-2 pickups are pretty killer sounding; the bridge pickup, in particular, is pretty meaty sounding and should sit in the mix nicely with the band.

Back in the JG club! :D

My 230 that I refinished in Blueburst is one guitar that I will never get rid of, partly because of the attributes of the guitar and its uniqueness with that color, and also because it is my first guitar. My other Rics are great but I'm not as attached to them. That said, I don't really want to get rid of any guitars...the one with the most guitars wins!

Glad you're enjoying your 200/2000 series instruments too!
