Hold me up Brothers

Post by ricmic »

My Bass playing Ric Brothers, on Wed. the 24th of April,my wife Carla, the most wonderful woman in the world, finally lost a courageous 20 year battle with cancer. She knew, only to well, what my Ric bass and playing bass meant to me. She supported and tolerated all my fussing over, not only my Ric, but all my guitars. Celebrate her my Brothers, she was the perfect wife for a Ric Bassists . You would have really liked her. Love the one you've got. Mark

My sincere & deepest condolences, Mark. I, too, have gone through that loss, many years ago, from the same killer disease. She was 27 and I was 29 when it happened.

I can only imagine what it would be like to lose my wife. Actually, no, I don't think I can imagine it. You both will be in our prayers. It is indeed a blessing to have someone in your life that can enrich it with the right kind of love. For that, you're ahead of the game.

Mark, I'm so sorry to hear this. Many sincere and deepest condolences to you. :(
I did get to meet Carla once and I did like her. She seemed like a really sweet lady.

Mark,
My deepest condolences for your loss. I know it's difficult now but be thankful for each precious day you had with such as wonderful woman. Right now I can only imagine the what you are feeling but unfortunately I fear that I will soon know. My beautiful wife of nearly 25 years is currently waging her own brave battle against stage four breast cancer.
Stay strong and find solace in playing your Rickenbacker......Carla would want you to, I'm sure. You are in my prayers.
