Photos of my Turquoise 660-12
I am re-embarking on a journey as a guitarist, after 15 years as a club-gigging bassist. Along the way, I used some of my gig money to pick up a couple of nice guitars (in addition to too many basses). My smartest choice was probably this green beauty, about 9 years ago (it is a 2004 model 660-12). We used it on one song recording with my band; otherwise, it has been underutilized. Well, now is my time to get my chops back as a guitarist, and I plan to put this sweety to use. My main 6-string is a Fender American Standard Strat. I hope to get to the point where I can gig and record on guitar. If I do, I will likely upgrade the Strat to a Rickenbacker 6-string at some point. I may look to you guys for advice as I go... the RRF has been super helpful over the years I was a bassist. I guess this is my introduction as a guitarist.
Here are a few photos of the 660-12. I tried to get them without flash, with only so-so results. This color is really hard for a novice photographer to capture on film.

Did you actually use film to make these photos?dean712 wrote:This color is really hard for a novice photographer to capture on film.

There's something about a turquoise Rick with gold TRC and pickguard that looks absolutely great! Nice guitar, and good luck on getting your chops back! That sure is a nice way to do it!
