Still in search of a table saw.... without having to buy one, of course.

Mark,

Same here. If you need to borrow it, just say the word. You just got to get to New Jersey, which can be a serious pain in the butt.

Wow! Thanks, you guys. That's a hell of an offer. Joseph - since you're actually a stone's throw in Jersey, maybe I'll have to take you up on that. We'll twahk.

I've got a couple of those too. And a table saw. And a few assorted other power saws. But I'm guessing that even though Mark might think a visit to Montana would be fun, coming just to use one of my saws is probably a bit much...

Indeed! The offers are much appreciated. Since Sepp is in "the 'hood" so to speak, we're going to schedule a SAW playdate.

*UPDATE*

Great success at Sepp's yesterday! I got the edges squared with the invaluable assistance of Joseph. We were met with the obstacle of how to keep the pieces steady while passing across the table saw, and Joseph conceptualized and created a little riser of sorts to clamp the pieces to right there on the fly. Big fat props, buddy!

Newest dilemma - during the squaring process, I discovered that the original bottom body wing piece is warped, likely due to years of being bent forward against those deep cavities. I'll have to steam that flat before putting the three pieces together, and hope to get all that done within the next few days here.
