Thanks guys. Unfortunately, after playing this briefly at rehearsal tonight, it's evident that it's not going to work (FWIW I have the same problem with forearm contours, a la Fender). It'll therefore be up for sale shortly.

Now that we have seen the 4000 series in MG how about these 2 gems (76' 3000 and 77' 3001)

By the way Scott (armybass) I cant see any volute on the rear headstock of your 4003.
Do the current run of 4003 basses follow the lines of the V63 and the early 4001 at the end of the neck?

Cheers Joey. I'm pretty sorry myself! These are pretty pricey in the UK and to have to put it up for sale so soon - and for a reason I just never anticipated - is so disappointing, especially give how fantastic it is in all other ways.
