They do. But they are sorta like trying to strap on a double bass and play it. (They're big,is what i'm sayin) 8)
I do loves me some Guild guitars,and the one of these i played sounded great unplugged,but it is a bit unwieldy!
I think the earthwood is not quite as big as the Guild,but as you said,fairly rare to find.

Huge body,and realllly short neck! But you can usually hear them (as usually as one gets to hear a mariachi band,anyway)!

From what I see for sale the low end ones have very thin tops so they don't last. Like anything else, quality costs
