Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
It must be the same way I knew (I mean knew) that my airport shuttle bus driver in Chicago last month, was named "James".
It was 4 am; I was his only passenger. After a minute or so of small talk, I looked him in the eye and said, "your name is James, isn't it?". He was more than a bit spooked...
Coincidence, or....?

Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
I want to put into the case of my guitar a temperature and humidity sensor that I just buy. The velcro that I use for putting my pedals in the pedalboard don't paste in the green inside material. Any advise?
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
Ok, what color am I thinking of right NOW?????

The sensor will be inside the hardshell case, in the place where other case manufactures are, not in the guitar... but I haven´t the proper sticker to paste in the green velvet.

No, its because you were sitting on his lap when you asked.jingle_jangle wrote:It must be the same way I knew (I mean knew) that my airport shuttle bus driver in Chicago last month, was named "James".

Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
Well, on THAT note, I thought I'd share a long-term project that is coming to a conclusion soon.
It started out as a bone-stock but very "charactered" 381V69 6 string. The customer (who many of you know) requested some of the changes you'll see, and I suggested one or two others. It's been a fun and very enlightening collaboration. I'm dying to get it into paint, as I'm hoping it will become as well-known as some of the factory "customs".
You can see for yourself the changes. Not so obvious is the neck geometry and dimensions...the neck leans back 3 degrees and is slightly wider than standard, with a slim "C" profile.
Yes, that's a new top, bookmatched, with no guards and a '50s style large F-hole.
More pics as it wraps.

Gorgeous wood...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: LOTS OF PROJECTS NEARING COMPLETION...
Always wondered what a 381 looked like with an f-hole. Made an already gorgeous guitar even more awesome. Nice work, Paul!
Question: How will the electronics be accessed?

That's a lot of work, I love the plain top guardless look on that carved body. F-hole too? Damn, I really like that.
