So glad the Adventure Of The Broken Neck ended happily for you. Mouradians sounds like a great place, and good people.
They might be just the ones to rebuild my aluminum necked Kramer. Although, right now, all that's left of it is the
aluminum neck... :?

Thanks Guys, Wicked Pissah sounds about right Matt  . John they(Jim and son, John) are so personable and talented easy to talk to and appreciative of the business not to mention reasonable. I asked about their Reality Bass, Jim didn't have his in the shop but showed me one under construction. It looked pretty sweet I would love to have one made. I commented that I like the head stock shape and was informed that a certain designer had traced it's shape and claimed for his own. Anyway I'm sure they could help anybody with any guitar issue. I remain amazed at what he has done with my bass.

Wow, I can't see the repair! Does it look as flawless in person? Where are these guys located and do they do small work like refrets and stuff like that? Having a local guy you can trust to do quality work is important, whether it's a big job or something small.

There is a guy local to me that claims to do quality work from big jobs to small. Not that i need anything but I'm very apprehensive to trust just anyone with my babies. I had another local guy do a new white corian nut, on my 73 4001 since he refused to use delrin, He did a decent job but I was not 100% happy.

Mouradian Guitars is on Main Street in Winchester, MA. I've been fortunate to have Jim and his son Jon do various work for me over the past three years. Jim is a Rick fan; I believe he has a '72 4001. I cannot recommend them enough. The only rub is that they are so good that there is typically a 4-8 week waiting period. They'll do any job, large or small, do it extremely well, and for a reasonable price.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

A 4-8 week backlog seems the norm for quality repair shops.

Thanks for the info!!
