Bummer. I remember hearing him talking with Greg Kihn on Greg's morning radio show several times over the years. He was a really entertaining personality and a great talent.
If it is to be, it is up to me.

I just read about Ray's passing on Facebook. I was quite surprised. And I had no idea he had been ill. Break on through to the Other Side, Ray.

Another great one passes. R.I.P., Ray. :(

Ouch. I really liked his playing, and his wit, perspective on things, and his observations/thinking. Rest In Peace, Ray. You're already missed. :(
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

What a band. The Doors epitomized Los Angeles in the late sixties. Ray Manzerek's musicianship was the heart of the group. Saw the Doors play at my High School in La Crescenta, California in the spring of 1967.

RIP Ray! He passed in a hospital in Rosenheim, Bavaria, where he got treatment against his cancer.
P.S. Can somebody correct his name in the header?

Yeah, it should be in "The Others->Landmarks" but I don't have permissions move it from here...
