350 In San Francisco Bay Area?

Does anyone know where there might be a 350v63 in the San Francisco Bay Area? I would like to order one but I have not had a chance to play one. Thanks for any help!

I like the mapleglo or black, but still undecided (620/350). Would love to see or try one out. How is the 350 body, is it about the same size as the 620?

If you take a ruler to them, they are almost exactly the same dimensions. The 350, being hollow, is about 1/4" thicker. I still think that the hollow body adds to the tone & the third p/up adds to the versatility.

I second the 350. But, if you want more of an edge in your sound maybe an early (1980-1992ish) 350 with High Gains with the R tail piece.

But I just don't like the 620, much prefer a 450 if going solid body.

The older 350 has 24 frets and the 350v63 has 21. The v63 IMHO is loads more comfortable. Now I play it way more often than my 360...

I have to say that I agree with David on the 450 thing. They are chamfered & much more comfy than a 620. Because they are older (generally, although 620s appeared in '74), the hi-gain p/ups have normally mellowed into warmer sounding units, which always help a solid body.
I haven't heard a hi-gain equipped 350, as mine is a v63, but I can't imagine it sounding much better & (ok, I know I am labouring this point) the toasters give the neck p/up combination a little extra sparkle.

Oliver, that is a beauty. I wish they would offer the v63 with an F sound hole, that would be a cool option.

Tony, I have the 350v63/12 in burgandy and I thought it was the best color, but I may have to reconsider.

Good call David, I'd be first in the queue for a 350 with an F hole. What's the 12 like? I have the possibility of getting a 350v63/12 in mapleglo in the new year. These really don't come up that often in the UK.

Tony, the 350/12 plays very easy, but the only other 12 I have is 330/12. I look at the 350/12 as a lead 12, Hard Days Night solo, etc.

By the way, I just bought that a 350v63/6 M. Brown above. You are right about guitars going cheap, but it comes and goes. I got it for $925, w/silver case.

David, did you get the 350 MB that was on EBAY? The serial number is VERY close to mine, they might have even been completed the same day!
