Price of a Jet Glo 360 12 WB
Hi all, I have a question. A few months ago I started to look at 360 12 wb's on ebay. There was a jet glo 80s model in perfect condition that sold for 1500.00. There wasn't a lot of activity on it. I figured this was what the market for them was. I didn't have the money at the time of the auction. Since then I've been periodically going back and have only seen listings for 360 wb (I think all have been fire glo's.) in the 2500 range. Did I miss a huge opportunity?? I feel like I should have begged and borrowed to get that 1500. Will I find another at that price? I'm going to get some money soon and would love to get a 360 12 WB but can't do much more than 1500. Did I miss my chance?

Not knowing the auction, from what you describe, that was a pretty good deal. Keep watching, maybe you'll get lucky and snag one at a good price like that.

Unless the guitar was in poor condition, $1500 is a nice price for a double bound 360/12 WB, especially in Jetglo, a finish which is less common than the FG finish, though still popular.
There is no reason to ever be bored.
...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

This auction? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Rickenback ... 7675.l2557
Yeah, I'd say that was a great price for that guitar.
Keep watching, the market is soft and the deals are out there.

Yes! That was it! There wasn't a lot of bidding and I just figured that was the market but I've seen nothing like that since.
I'm kicking myself! If i'd known how good a deal that was I would have borrowed the money. Live and learn

There's another one listed with 4 days, 19 hours to go as this is written - but the neck is "slightly bent" - otherwise, good condition.
It's listed as a 6-string; I contacted the seller on Tuesday, who said that the listing would be corrected....so far, it hasn't been.
