...ahh, a July product. On your pic it looks like it has a Plexi TRC and Grovers, or am I mistaken!? :shock: With the 1/2" neck PU spacing it is very close to a 1974 model. :)

Last night at rehearsal, playing my son's '86 4003S MG/BT. If it was my bass I'd swap the BT hardware for chrome and white plastic, re-install the handrest and move the neck pickup to 1/2" spacing, but my son likes it stock, and with The Bezel.

But bottom line, This bass kills. Thick neck and a tone to die for. Wish my Rics sounded like it.

Plexi TRC, but with Schaller tuners :shock: . It has also been refinned by someone in it's past. I think it was originally mapleglo. It's beat up, needed truss rod work, had a dead neck pickup, and sported unbelievably thick roundwounds when I picked it up. After a lot of work it's an amazing playing bass now :D
