Well, then you did contribute to the book. It wouldn't be the same without those basses in it. 8)
Jeff,

I know my/Dave Pascoe's 4002 is in the book as is my TVY 4004CiiBH but I did not own the 4002 when it was photographed and I think Paul got fotos right from RIC for my 4004. This will definitely be a coffee table book and it will be neat to point out the two instrument in the book then point to them hanging on my wall!

Oh BTW, I've gotten very adventurous with the 4002. it came to it's second practice last night. That bass just makes every song sound better!! What a monster she is!!

I used Dave Pascoe's shots of the once-his birdseye 4002 in the book. Sorry, but the TVY Cii didn't make the cut. I put many of the RIC one-offs in the custom chapter which was the rubber chapter near the end of the book. I filled what space I had left with photos in that chapter, but I had many more that I couldn't fit in. However, I do have "Snow White" in the custom chapter. It ends up being something like 317 photos in the entire book, so there's plenty of Rick porn for everyone to enjoy!

July has approaching. I'll have prepared the English-Japanese dictionary anymore.

Yeah, Mark. Your hand-painted lefty/righty Rick front and back is in there, too!

No kidding! I would have thought that one was a bit too "tainted" for a collection of otherwise pristine examples. Well thanks for the inclusion!

It's in the "Customs, mods, and one-offs - Letting that freak flag fly" chapter. Apropos, yes?

Teaser:

Russ Rubman's "Aqua Bass," a couple of Dane Wilder's creations, Eric Kutzler's "Blue Flame Rick," a few mods from my collection, "Snow White," and several of the RIC eBay one-offs. Would have put many more in, but ran out of pages!

Nice! That Aquaglo Bass of Russ' is quite a thing to behold - probably the most elaborately decorated Rick bass I've ever seen.

I don't know about that. Fancy maybe, but I think your lefty/righty is the most decorated. 8)
