Fantastic pictures chaps.
Really, really love the pics in this thread, but what I would like to see now is the written story of the Rickenbacker Rose Morris period. There are loads of useful bits and bobs all over the forum, but wouldn't it be great to see the whole export tale down in one thread - dates, models, feature changes, numbers, players, everything ...or even a book (I would buy that in an instant). Who fancies the job? I know there are some very knowledgeable people here, can we do this? Would love to see it.

A book would be great - I'm happy to volunteer!

What an excellent idea - put me first on the list of subscribers!collin wrote:A book would be great - I'm happy to volunteer!
Seriously though, there must be a wealth of knowledge and material in RRF-land for such a compendium and some members might even be willing to contribute upfront to offset the production costs. It could be self-published and produced in either hard copy or e-book format.
Worth looking into

Re: Rose Morris Rickenbacker Gallery
Even better, the Rose Morris story would be an excellent chapter in a definitive Rickenbacker history book, with color photos and detailed history records. Something to replace the lacking (and dated) Richard Smith book.
Something in the vein of the Jim Elyea JMI Vox book - the complete history of a brand in full color.
Of course, such a book could never be produced without the cooperation of RIC and their archives. One day, maybe!

Fantastic Collin....just fantastic!
Definitely deserves a pictorial reply...after all, the more dot inlays and f-holes, the better!

Great idea/suggestion for a detailed history narrative, Collin !collin wrote:Even better, the Rose Morris story would be an excellent chapter in a definitive Rickenbacker history book, with color photos and detailed history records. Something to replace the lacking (and dated) Richard Smith book.
