I admit I spent more time just staring at the guitar than reading the interview   although it is a good interview.

I saw show #3 (of 5) at the Beacon Theatre in NYC last Thursday, and Tom used it on a few tunes, which was great. Mike Campbell used the other NAMM model (the 350) which sounded amazing, as well. Maybe the "great f-hole tease" of 2013 will come to fruition in 2014 - we can only hope.

That picture came from the 2012 Jazz Fest show I attended last year.

I don't believe Mike is using his new 350 on this tour, judging by the videos and photos I've seen. It's got wear on the top of the body where the arm would rest (looks like arm wear) and the earlier dark gold pickguards, covered in scratches. The body is also scratched up. I doubt Campbell would've done all that to it in 4 months. Of course, I'm judging by the photos and videos, so I could be wrong, causing me to say the old saying "You had to be there".

Check out "Refugee" from the Beacon on YouTube - Mike's playing what looks to be a 2-pickup 350 with an R tailpiece....

The NAMM guitar, if I'm not mistaken.

Looks like Mike is playing a standard 360/12C63 - Tom's got the new one. Great video!

That guitar is a 1967 360/12 OS. Check the knobs.

Mike was using his old 350 on "Refugee" on this tour until around June 9th... then he started using his '64 Gibson SG on that song instead.

Cambell was pretty heavy on the SG at Summerfest last Friday. I think he only used a 360-like on two songs (poor description, I know, but not very good seats, unfortunately). Broke out both of his Duesenberg models. Blonde Tele, couple of Les Pauls, and a Phantom.

Petty had what looked like that one, near as I could tell, out a couple of times, but ran a blonde Tele a lot.

i was hoping to see more Ricks, but they still sound like Mike and Tom, no matter what they pick up. Gotta love 'em.

Oh yeah, definitely a good lookin' guitar. Got a few too many strings and they're awful skinny, but hey, when it looks that good, I can overlook a few faults...
   8)
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
