1977 4001 Pickguard replacement

Post by Redstrand »

Been lurking around for a bit, picking up my Autumnglo '77 4001 next week. It has a mirrored pickguard that I need to replace. Been to a couple of different sites. Which is the best one to get a pickguard from?

Thank you!

I've gotten several from http://pickguardian.com/pickguardian/, Tony does excellent work!

Sweet! I saw that earlier but wasn't sure who does good work. Thanks!

Awesome, once I have it hand I'll double check the template against the guard and order it on up. Can't wait!

If you have any worries, you can send the old one to Tony and he will make an exact copy. In general though, for standard stuff, he's got the patterns down perfectly...

+1 Pickguardian.

The pickguard on my '75 4001 was badly damaged (by a previous owner) and so I just sent the bits to Tony and he did a great job creating a new one.

That's been my experience, exactly.
