Do you get any sort of indication from the publisher as to how many copies are being sold?
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I called the publisher a couple of weeks ago about the sales. It seems they weren't used to having authors inquire about sales. They put me through to the royalties department who told me 577 copies "through June" which to them would have been preorders from book buyers and Amazon. This was before the book was officially out, and I have no idea how well it is selling now that it's available. Press run was supposed to be 4000 copies, and I don't know how long they actively market a new title. Fortunately, I don't need sales to feed myself, so I'm not to concerned at this point.

Hey Paul - I'm curious if you used the picture(s) of my Lemmy 4004LK. Looking forward to picking up this book!

I'm not at home computer right now, but as I recall, you were one of the folks that I paged here but couldn't get a home address. If your Lemmy is the one with the "crowded" pickups and you submitted a photo of it, then yes, I did use the photo in the book, and you are due a complimentary copy of the book. Again, I can't check on this from my location right now, but I think that is the case. You should pm or e-mail me with your postal address. And thanks again!
