I imagine a 4004 Cii in white. That would look good to me.

White on white is the classiest Ric color in my opinion, ask Andy Winter, he knows. I would love to get one and would spring for a new one with with white trim in a second.
Incidentally I don't know how many of you were here in 2003 when I first joined but I was living in Lima, Peru for a while and spent hours on this forum, well I'm back again for a while and just had to post again from here in an internet café. I brought my 79 mapleglo 4001 although I haven't logged much playing time with any bands yet, but I got a new loro named Carmelita, Humberto flew away, haha!
Glad to have you back, Bob. To the RRF.

Still miss the old Ampeg forum?? I didn't think so.
That place was nuts, psycho is moderating another amp forum now. I forgot the name of it but it's Dave Westheimer's forum.

FYI: That previous quote was not actually from me.
However, I do agree that white is one of the best colors for a RIC bass.
My two favorite RIC finishes have always been classic (amber) FireGlo, and White ... with black trim.

I think you guys are completely missing the obvious, the COY is no finish at all (Noglo), as shown in the picture.

I bet that would help reduce the back-log!
Here's my guess as long as we're playing guessing games.

There will be no 2014 "COY" as per the COY concept from early-mid '00s. That would mean all models would be available for order in that color, and I don't think RIC is going there. This is more likely a limited run dealer order for the 4003 model and maybe a few odd other models done while the paint is fresh, and that order is not going to North America.

I hope I'm wrong!

It's my all-original 1975 4001S WT. It's a set-neck 4001S, BTW.

My dream Bass! I did say ivoryglo but all white, yes Sir.
Now, how do I order one of these right now? I'm serious and in Australia.
