Kinda. I doubt he or Scotti remember me from the RIC 75th anniversary party, but they do remember our phone conversation from a few years ago. That interview was intended to become a foreword for the book, but became the sidebar on page 33. I asked him to sign my book over the text of that page. My hope is to have all those (still alive) pictured in the book (including Paul McCartney) to sign my personal copy. That's 25 more people. Daunting task, but I hope to figure out a way. I was distracted enough during the recent Milwaukee Confluence to neglect having Amy Humphrey sign my copy, so I'll need to sent it to her for the autograph. Doh!

Great news Paul... I remember read somewhere, when Jon first joined the band, that he had a 4001 and someone thought it was a '74. I hope that you will be able to get Juano a copy of your book!

That had to be great! Very nice, the assistance you got to get this done.

I'd say it is an MG 4001.....

I didn't get to quiz Jon in the short time we had with Chris. What band is Jon in in that photo? It seems to me that perhaps Jon was likely in some sort of Yes tribute band as he fits seamlessly into the role today. Got more info on him?

Paul, That is Fantastic that you got to meet with Chris and Jon and go through your book! You have done a great service to Rick lovers and I only hope that you will fulfill all of your intended meetings. Man, I still get chills when I listen to the isolated bass for "Roundabout". What a sound! What talent!

Before the Yes tribute band, Jon played bass in 'Sky Cries Mary' in the '90s. They were a very funky groovy psychedelic band. I used to chat with Jon in passing occasionally - super nice and open individual, as you probably noticed.

He was in Glass Hammer for three albums also.

I remember capturing that moment at the House of Blues.
