It's my understanding that from our side all 15 basses were sold within 10 minutes of the announcement but that doesn't mean every dealer has found a good home for every bass.

And if you're lucky enough to live in Germany, there's a bunch over there now.
Mr. Hall, can you give us a hint as to which Dealers in the US and Germany have them please, pretty please?
I'm running out of options.

Thanks Terry, I have Emailed him but not hopeful as I believe the 15 were for domestic US market, but now some have gone to Germany?
Not sure if that was extra over the 15 or not? Bit confusing.
Bit disapointing as I am a genuine buyer with no local Dealer. Ah the joys of living in sunny Oztraya hey?
Maybe we might expect the next run down here in "SandyGlo". Ha!

Or down here in Margs of late it could be MudGlo! Good luck Pete. You sound pumped for sure.

Sno-Glo - Are the inlays very bright/lighter, or is it just the lighting?

Do we know where in Germany one of these can be found? My girlfriend will be in Dresden visiting family in a few days and I would dearly love to have one of these basses! A dealer name would be fantastically appreciated!

I'd start with the German-based distributors listed here, but I'm sure there is more specific info available:

I was just thinking about how tedious it must be to properly scrape white paint off white binding...

Finally....Full length inlays on an all white bass. Like turning back the clock 40+ years! What took so long!

Without doubt one of the best looking basses produced by RIC in the last 15 years.

Dang it. Looks like my girlfriend is leaving Germany before the basses will be available for sale. So close.....

Was told by the shop in Dresden that they could probably ship it, but it could be cost prohibitive.

I've been itching to buy Ric so bad recently, but no finish option was calling my name.... Until this Sno-Glo appeared! It's so crisp, clean, and classic looking. I love that it has white binding. For some reason white with black trim turns me off.

Pretty please bass Gods.... send a Sno-Glo my way :D

I'm curious if anyone here has bought a Ric in Europe and had it shipped to the US. I imagine the retail price is higher .... and then there's the shipping.
Anyone have a tale to tell? :)

...yes, I once (2007?) shipped a 1970 21-fretter FG to Elys Rand, who bought it on eBay here in Germany. The insurance (for 3000€) added some amount to the EXPRESS shipment costs (totally about 200 €). You can have it cheaper (about 50€) being insured for only 500€ max. and regular shipment (air mail anyway). But you can find it all here: http://www.dhl.de

Massive positive reaction to this bass (white on white with chrome) I love to see white in the 300 series.

It would cost you big time.
Say the bass retails for 1900 Euro, which is $2543 today.
Add to that shipping, taxes, you would end up well over $3000.
I think you could have a standard 4003 and have it refinished in white for less

Edit: these would be 400 above normal retail price, you could probably have 2 4003's and have them refinished in white for what it would cost to import one from Deutschland.
