Actual book review!
WOW! An actual on-line review instead of the regurgitated press release:

Cool!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: Actual book review!
What's on page 42? !
Re: Actual book review!
The only bad thing about your book is that I want all those basses that are in it.
keep up the good work!

C'mon, John. I know you have a copy of the book! Anybody who has the book can see what the reviewer is all twitterpated about. Those who don't have the book, well . . . .

I need a eBook so I'll always have it with me. This business of driving home to pull out the book to look at page 42 is so old skool.C'mon, John. I know you have a copy of the book!

Yeah, I'd like to have an e-book also, but the publisher has not been satisfied with the e-book publishing programs for graphic-heavy books like mine, so they haven't made it yet. Maybe some day.

Re: Actual book review!
I suspect people will be enjoying and referring to this book for a really long time, and its sales will probably just grow with exposure. It's not one of those books you'll hear about on NPR's Fresh Air one day causing a big bump in sales but over time its influence wanes. This occupies a very defined niche, there's not likely to be anything to dethrone it for a long, long time (except maybe a second edition?).

Re: Actual book review!
How many pages is the book? I wonder if the publisher should look into what the magazines use. Australian Motorcycle News offers its magazine electronically and apparently it is really good. Very graphically intensive and something like 160-180 pages.
Good review there. It's a start. I am ordering mine via Ebay soon!

It's 144 pages plus covers and a two-page foldout (tip in). I'm sure the publisher is aware of what magazines use; they're just not happy with it.Benjamin wrote:How many pages is the book?
