Oh yeah, that's gorgeous!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Wow!
Congrats!

Normally I don not like (ruby)red.
Normally I do not like the 381.
- But this combination is stunning! The red emphasises the shape of the body perfectly. Very nice!
I am sure it feels like chistmas for a little child, doesn't it?!
One question: Is the guitar painted inside? It does not look like the usual wood behind the soundhole (or is it just a monitor delusion?).
Enjoy it!!!

Congratulations Craig. Gorgeous guitar!
Re: 381 Ruby
Beautiful!
On another note and this has bothered me for a while......RIC needs to tame those pointy horns. Soften them a bit.

Very, very nice. Great choice in guitar and color.

Never, ever drool on your surf shirt. It wrecks the solo.

Oh maaan! Now you're bringing on the GAS!
I've finally recovered from sacrificing my last 360 as a trade for a 60 year old Gretsch. I have a dilemma. I can swing another 360, and had planned to get another one within the next few days, but by the same token, I'm kind of intrigued by the 381. But the 381 is another $1600 extra (which I can just swing if I'm willing to trade some guitars). I can't decide which is the better rocker - a 360, or a 381. Both guitars look so cool!

Re: 381 Ruby
I was fortunate enough to place the first order for a 381 Ruby, and got the actual NAMM model through POTR - complete with a letter from RIC certifying same.
You're right, Craig; these are magnificent. CONGRATULATIONS!

Ellen,
If playing live, 381 can be a bit heavy. Other than that, they sound great. I had a BBR 12-string at one time. Loved it.
Witty, that's the best use of Ruby I have seen!

Which one of the two did you prefer Tim?
