I think Flamingo Pinkglo would look fabulous.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

Just why would the RIC site's posted example keep changing colors like that?

"BRP"... hmmm... could the "P" possibly stand for "prismatic"?

I mean, other manufacturers have already used that type of paint that changes colors depending on the angle of the light source.

Ewww - Jaymi how anyone could deface a Ric in such a way is beyond me! (I am being light hearted) but it would leave me feeling empty if Ric did use the Union Jack...it's just a strong dislike I have for the flag...*rant over*

BRP - hmm, the mind boggles, when will we find out?
Tell me does it feel the same when you've set upon a change but your heart's in the old times?

"Just why would the RIC site's posted example keep changing colors like that?"

because it is more interesting than a shilouette of a rickenbacker. i honestly dont think it would be a color changing color. IMO its tacky

I'd like to see a Rick in a trans teal or teal burst.
Just my own humble opinion, I think many basses look cool in those finishes.
I didn't like the Turquiose finish until I finally got to see it in person at a NAMM show a few years ago.

...In fact, since this happened to my 4004/5Cii in transit:

...it just might become a translucent teal or possibly a translucent black.

Joey, if it came from RIC in that condition, can't you get it fixed under the warranty?
I know you have been waiting forever for it and don't wanna give it up, butI would think if that's how you got it from them, they would make it right.
