Very Sad News - Ken Joseph has passed away.

Post by admin »

I have just received very sad news regarding Ken Joseph who passed away over the past weekend on Saturday.

Our condolences go out to his wife Lorie and the family. Ken was diagnosed with Cancer in 2008 and courageously fought this disease for the past 5 years all the while continuing to volunteer here at the RRF. I am not sure how he was able to remain so positive in his work here and in his PMs to me but he did so until the end.

The following link to his obituary was provided by a close friend
http://obits.dignitymemorial.com/dignit ... id=5682566

I am deeply saddened by this news as he was a wonderful person and very remarkable in that he placed his own needs behind those of others even when very ill. I am glad that he is at peace and I know that he will look down upon all of us from Heaven as he makes time for a second strum.

Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered in our hearts.

Peter

This is terrible news. So sad to hear this. Ken was one of the good guys. He was always a great friend, very supportive behind the scenes, especially when things went crazy here on the forum and edits had to be made. He was one one the guys that helped keep me here. He told me he didn't think he'd make it through the end of the year.
Ken, I gonna miss you, your informative posts and your arm around the shoulder support. He always hoped he'd make it to a SCARF, but his health wouldn't let him. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Ken. No more pain!

Rest well, Ken. Sure going to miss you around here. My thoughts are with his family during their time of grief.

Extremely sad, yet he is now without pain.

This is really gutting to hear. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that Ken was one of the most well-respected members of this forum.

I'll think of him often when I play my 330 - he converted the bridge pickup from Higain to Toaster. Gratis, of course - that's just the kind of guy he was.

RIP. :(

From the few conversations I had with him, he seemed like a class act all the way. He will definitely be missed by many.
