I thought I'd just pop in and say how impressed I am with the book.
It's just such a tremendous result.

It also makes me realise that you can't have too many basses.

Thanks, Ian, and everyone. You know, you can have some of the basses that appear in the book! I'm selling off most of my collection over in the For Sale section. Just look for "Clear-Cut Sale" items. :)

I got an informal update on the sales of the book. Looks like "about 1500 copies" have been sold by Hal Leonard. Now, that means that many have been bought by "book buyers" who supply the outlets such as book-store chains and Amazon. It doesn't necessarily mean that 1500 people have taken the book home. Press run was about 4000, so we're better than one third of the way to a sellout! :D

Paul, thanks for taking the time to write this great book. What can I say that hasn't been said before, nothing really but I'll add my voice to the cataracts of praise. Cheer man, oh, she's built like a tank!! :)
