Rickenbacker "short scale" guitars

Post by brian »

Were/are all Rickenbacker short scale (three-quarter neck) guitars equipped with a single truss rod only, or are there some models/versions with dual truss rods ?

I've owned a '64 325, '64 ES-16, and an '80 320. They are all 3/4 scale guitars and had dual truss rods.

Is there some site, book, or ? which provides details on which models and years had single vs dual truss rods ? Any site or book I have looked at does not seem to provide this information.

I used to think that, until I saw a picture of a 1960 Ric 365 (last post in the following link)

What I am trying to figure out is if any other 3/4 scale Ric versions have a single truss rod.
