Nice.
If those were mine, I'd send that Glen Fry pickguard to Tony at Pickguardian, and have him make me a black guard for the 4004L. :D

The '67 4001S Experimental bass is the inspiration for this; I thought about this even before the bass was shipped out of the factory! Still considering, maybe.

But the black plastic looks swell. That is one sexy white paint job for a modern S style body. Just stunning. 8)

I'm with Kira about the tug bar on this. It would be interesting to see what a shorter 4005 pg would look like,too. (You've probably already tried that photoshop?)
