Quite possibly the ONLY pictures of a hot blonde with a green number "5" jersey holding a tambourine standing next to a guy playing a jetglo 4003!!!EVER!!!Unless someone proves me wrong..!!

You go, Mark! Cool bass. Is that a 4003S with a 4002-like pickguard? What type of pickup is on the bridge side?

Hi Jeff, yes its a 1982 4003S refinished in "Tru Oil" with my own design pickguard (whats a pick?) which is in two pieces (see the wavey line above the switch?). I wish I could get a more yellowey off-white plastic for it to match that of the aged headstock plastic. Just the standard pickups (the bridge one is naked - note the tell-tale position of the adjustment screw).

My daughter is taking an interest in the bass.
I'm getting her a Squire P bass for now (she can't touch mine). Here she is during one of the rare times she can "Touch" my 4003...lol

I don't know Mike, she looks quite content and comfortable with your Rick. You might be the one to end up with the Squire. LOL

Maybe when you mentioned Squire she thought she was getting a CS. Image She does look good with this one.
