I would love one.

What would the model number be though?

On the headstock!

Eden.
I confused Faraday's cage, with Schrodinger's cat box....

I know it would require a buffer preamp, but a bridge piezo pickup of some sort might be interesting. Rick Turner makes his own and his own preamps, too; this way there would still be Rick electronics in the bass.

Were I to design the one-pickup version of the 4004, I'd leave the lone PU in the bridge location...

It is an interesting idea to me.

This might be a cool ideal to some, like a P-bass or StingRay, but I'd pass on a one pickup 4004.
I'm looking to add a third pickup to mine.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

My piezo idea still works, then! 8)

If I could have my wish, I'd like a custom 4004L with a single HB1 in the precision sweet spot.

I lust for single pickup guitars.

A piezo pickup would be really sweet if RIC ever starts making a 4004FL.
