Nothing for Christmas, but my New Years resolution is to pick up a 4003 or 4004 and get back into the Rickenbacker fold.

I didn't get anything Rickenbacker related for this Christmas, but my parent's paid the last $100 of my 4001 in 1978 and surprised me with it at Christmas. And it's just the gift that keeps giving.

I asked for Paul's book, but it never materialized.

Guess I have to order it for myself!

Oh, excellent. I should get a copy and see if I can find someone who will provide me publishable photos of Geddy with a Rick for a possible 2nd edition of my book. I never was able to find the right people to gain permission. Looks like this fellow did.

it wasn't Christmas, but my parents helped me get my first Rick about the same period (I lived up to an academic challenge). Indeed a long lasting gift! :D

Now that I think about it, I did receive some Rickenbacker-related gifts: cash from several family members to assist in my upcoming purchase of doctorwho's turquoise 4003FL!
2010 4003 FG
1997 4003FL Turquoise
Set neck 4001S (color TBD)
