Goncalvo Alves, figured koa, or a book matched burl maple top would look nice also.

If you used Burl, you could the bass Milton.

I don't know if any of you saw this one on ebay the last week, but it took great restraint to keep from bidding. That top is gorgeous!

I still think the 4001 would make a good painted bass. I asked for the serial number and it is on the listing now...

I'd have some clever guitar guy make new body halfs for it ... sort of a 4001Cheyenne thing . Forget the body binding ... but do the guard and the rest of the typical hardware .
Then respray it in white or maybe clear .... or if the wood is nice , fireglo .
guess who ?!>!

Yeah, I guess that could kinda suck after a while. Sorry. To tell the truth, I could not remember if Larry was the character or the actor.

I liked Eddie Haskel ... he was such a weasel ... and then there was lumpy ... and then Mrs Cleaver would say ... "Gee Ward ... you were kinda hard on the Beaver last night."

they just don't do tv like that any more ... all we get is reality **** shows now days ...

I am still thinking of going for it. What kind of deal do you want to do?
