+1 for not buying new.
Follow the lead of mike campbell who got his damn the torpedoes cover ricky for $150, or so the story goes.
New ricky 360 in the uk are £1800 give or take, Nice used ones are £900.

Yep good thing nobody cares what we think!

If that was intended for me, you might be surprised to know that I think it's a fine idea to buy used instruments. There will always be a need for us to fill the demand for new, replacement instruments but in the meantime it only helps us catch up with production, which in turn will allow us to consider new items in the line- which, of course, can't be purchased used.deaconblues wrote:Yep good thing nobody cares what we think!
I'm all for a vibrant second-hand market for our products.
Re: Bent over a barrel in England??
Oh, I may well have interest in new instruments, it's just that the affordability factor is likely to be a lot worse for me in the not too distant future...

I think you'll find that the prices down there will go down somewhat when direct distribution is appointed. And you still have plenty of connections to the US anyway!cjj wrote:Oh, I may well have interest in new instruments, it's just that the affordability factor is likely to be a lot worse for me in the not too distant future...
