Has such a thing ever existed?? Or has a brave soul done such a mod????

This RIC Factory Outlet one-off comes to mind -- "Made from 4002 body wings and 660-12 unfinished flamed maple neck with full width inlays; checkered binding with BH BT; body is high-mass maple."

So a thru-body one-piece maple neck and walunt body wings, pretty close . . .

That's right--it's a 12-string conversion!
