I forgot to add that detail, sorry; I always slide the strings in from the side. For future reference. I advise changing one string at a time when you do your next string change-very easy that way.antiuser wrote:Thanks. That did it. Would be handy if these came with instructionsjohnhall wrote:Slide it in from one side.

There is no reason to ever be bored.

Nope, not kidding. Haven't restrung my 325 yet and I come across this topic. Makes me wonder if there may be some frustrating moments involved.paologregorio wrote:You're kidding, yes?
But judging by the responses here, apparently there shouldn't be.

Yes, slide it out enough to access the low "E" string slot, put in the strings one at a time, slide back in a notch after each string is placed.antiuser wrote: Do I have to completely slide out the piece with the arm and pivot point, slot the strings in there and then slide it back in?

Change one at a time and you'll have no problems.Tommy wrote:Nope, not kidding. Haven't restrung my 325 yet and I come across this topic. Makes me wonder if there may be some frustrating moments involved.paologregorio wrote:You're kidding, yes?

My personal least favorite to string is my Vox Mark XII - cheap imitation Bigsby with 12 strings. The Rick 12 strings get played more, though, so at least I don't have to restring it very often....paologregorio wrote:You're kidding, yes? Restringing with an Accent TP is about as easy as it gets; far easier than an "R" TP, a Bigsby, and a few others.Tommy wrote:Oh, gosh, I just got me a 325 with an Accent. I had no idea restringing was going to be a chore.
Why don't they invent guitars that never need new strings?
